A cascade delete of the thread began and did not finish (design 4.41, #2074): its latest checkpoint is marked Checkpoint.deleting, and some of its descendants may already be gone, so a replayed task could re-run a deleted child. start, recover, resume, fork (from it) and updateState on it are refused before any claim, and nothing was changed; deleteThread finishes the delete.
